How to Hack SeaWorld Mom Style- A Day in the Life

Kimberly has managed to attain free preferred parking and has already saved a bundle on yearly expenses with her Platinum Pass all before even entering Sea World, but now she is taking the time to share how else she makes this purchase work for her family.

Kim and her daughter enter the park and immediately go see and feed the sea lions, because what little one wants to miss the chance to come up close with some friendly creatures? Sesame Street Bay of Play Area is next on the list where her daughter is able to enjoy some fun in the sun riding some age appropriate rides and getting to relive the joy of a vacation each visit. At about 11:30 or so, because little ones are always on the move, the family migrates over to Pets Ahoy! Dogs and cats, ducks and doves, potbellied pigs and a few surprise animal guest stars will show you just what SeaWorld has to offer in this spectacular indoor show that the kids love. The show itself is too cute for words and of course kids love seeing animals fooling around putting on a show!

Acquatica and the Splash Pad Area in Sesame Street Bay of Play is a big stop for Kim’s family to get some more bonding time on the books. However, during all of this fun, Kim has spent maybe $20 on food for three people thanks to her purchase of the platinum pass. Her family is able to eat at a discount thanks to her savvy purchase.

Post lunch activities usually involve looping the back side of the park to go see the flamingos and ducks! Her feeding of the sea lions, flamingos, and ducks has cost maybe $5 for an entire day. To keep cool in the Texas heat, frozen lemonades are $1.99 per visit with her 20% off annual pass, and refills are only 99 cents!

Other animal adventures that are on the list include, going to Discovery Point SeaWorld’s Discovery Point is a tucked-away oasis within SeaWorld San Antonio. Your family can watch the dolphins play from sandy shores, or go deeper with a dolphin underwater viewing; kids are also able to learn about endangered animals in Explorers Reef. Being the mother of a three year old, Kim knows all too well that her daughter doesn’t like to sit still through long shows, so the Pet Show is perfect for little ones because they stay entertained without the waiting game of waiting on a long program to begin.

This vacation is more like a weekly trip for Kim and her daughter because of her tips and tricks of vacation budgeting. Read on to see how she booked an entire month’s vacation for her and her daughter! Also check out her other life hacks below.
